The Fascinating History of Bicycles

Symbol of the promotion of good health and of a growing environmental awareness, the bicycle is one of the most popular vehicles, used and loved by people of all ages. The history of its development, since the introduction in Europe in 19th century until the achievement of success, with the cultural and social involvements are represented in a very interesting exhibition placed in Florence's Institute and Museum of the History of Science.

Cycling through Time offers the opportunity to esteem deeply antique bicycles, granted to the Museum by various collectors. The exhibition (extended to February 2th) is also dedicated to the display of a lot of photographs, posters and antique prints, so during your Florence holidays don't miss opportunity of a journey to the past!
